Proud to be an American!

We made American flag pictures this morning to remember the people who died in the terror attack, and this afternoon we wrote in our journals about people who keep us safe. Jalen and Kavon both thought firemen keep us safe. Destiney wrote about policemen. Thank you to all the people who keep us safe every day.

Today we made models of land and water with soil and water. We made hills with our soil, then drew a picture of our model. Ayanna really enjoyed this experiment.

We made our first visit to the library today! Joey was very excited about picking a book from the library.

Since it was such a nice day we took a short break to play on the playground and the swings. Shelley, Marissa, Ayanna, and Destiney collected some rocks outside for science.

Everyone learned a new math game today! We are still learning the rules and routines of our classroom, but we do know it is important to respect each other and keep eachother safe.

Let's continue to be the best we can be!
